A Different Kind of Clean: Disinfectant Cleaning

When the Coronavirus pandemic began, we had no idea how long we’d be socially distancing, wearing masks, incessantly washing our hands, disinfectant cleaning, or what the future even held.

Everyone was looking to put 2020 behind them. We all wanted to wash our hands of the last year – figuratively speaking.

Then there was hope. The vaccines started to roll out and relief was on the way.  As great as it’s been working to keep people from getting so sick (that hospitalization may no longer be needed) it’s not the be-all-end-all.

Another issue has reared its head. Not everyone is on board with getting vaccinated. And with the variants, we are seeing a rise in the Delta variant cases in parts of the world.

This is why it’s so important to keep up with the disinfectant cleaning methods incorporated over these last 18 or so months.

Keeping a clean AND disinfected home is going to be the norm for the foreseeable future. It isn’t easy to keep a home 99.99% germ-free all on your own. And fortunately, you don’t have to.

In mid-2020, C’s introduced COVID-19 cleaning services (disinfectant cleaning). We also identified the 10 key areas of the home that need extra attention. We implemented our “10 points of focused disinfection” guidelines. So all cleaning technicians at C’s is aware of the importance of following through with all the steps.

These are the “Points”:

“10 Points of Focused Disinfection” Guidelines.

➀ Door Knobs

➁ Light Switches

➂ Stair Railings

➃ Cabinet Handles

➄ Faucets

➅ Counters

➆ Appliance Handles

➇ Toilet Handles

➈ Car Handles / Steering Wheel / Gear Shifter

➉ Vacuum / Power Head

In addition, we’ve educated ourselves and the staff by taking classes on COVID awareness. We are proud to say that we are a PPE-certified cleaning service!

We boast about this, about our seals of approval, our non-toxic cleaning culture, and most importantly how we are an environmentally friendly company. Our ultimate goal as a company is to provide families with the safest and healthiest environment to live and thrive at home.

We don’t scrimp either. We invest. We use the highest quality cleaning tools that are also high performance.

We most recently purchased disinfecting foggers. Foggers are great disinfectant machines. They have the ability to reach more areas than does disinfecting by hand. They not only cover larger areas, but they also offer longer-lasting results.

The disinfecting foggers purify and remove pathogens in the air as well as on surfaces. They rid bacteria and viral particles, not just reduce them. This is especially good for airborne viruses such as the novel coronavirus.

The next time you’re scheduled for a regular cleaning, you should also inquire about our disinfecting services, using the fogger. It is suitable and effective for both residential and office use.
