Tools To Get Organized

3 Must Have Tools To Get Organized

Getting Organized is Easy with the Right Tools

Getting organized doesn’t require you to pay a fortune to have a specialist come in and save your home. You can take control of a disorganized space with only 5 tools. The important thing to remember is to take it day by day. You cannot get your entire home organized in a day. Organization takes a time to create the foundation and effort to keep up the practice. If you keep up with your strategy for long enough it will become a habit.

1. Label Maker – THIS IS A MUST HAVE

I personally love my Dymo Labelmaker. The refills are even affordable! The labels come in all type: paper, plastic, and clear. They even have different colors as well as characters to add flavor to your labels. (This comes in handy when trying to make organization fun for children)

2. Vacuum Storage Bags

This is the best tool to combine items that you are no longer using such as sheets, pillows, blankets, old clothing, and seasonal clothing. Using vacuum bags can greatly reduce the amount of space your items take up in your storage areas. They come in all sizes so even if you have a small amount of items you want to store; you don’t have to waste a huge bag.  Amazon has some great vacuum storage bags at a great price and even some that come in a tote.    hamptons house organizing tools

3. Under-The-Bed Storage

Under your bed is the great wasteland of storage space. This area can store a great amount of things using the proper tools. There are bins that are specifically designed for under your bed. You can put shoes, linens, clothing, or even holiday items under your bed. You don’t have to pay for a pricey built in storage for your bed; there are bins that even come with wheels to make accessing your items easier. (Combine a vacuum bag with your under-the-bed bin and you get even more storage!)
